Available PhD Projects

 

The list below gives potential titles and links to details of PhD projects within the PIG. We also welcome candidates to bring along their own ideas for projects. To apply in the first instance you should email the relevant first supervisor. We will also be happy to discuss general enquires.

Note that these are NOT funded projects. Chances of funding vary with nationality.

  • UK Students: Full funding for UK students is available but there are limited spaces

  • EU students: Payment of fees is available but there are limited spaces

  • Non-EU students should have an idea of a source of funding for your studies (usually your own government)

Overseas students with partial funding (i.e. fees only - currently ~15k/yr) should get in touch with us, as there is a scheme to support such students (http://www.ncl.ac.uk/postgraduate/funding/search/list/ce023).
