Sugar-based Biorefining

Biorefining is not just about biological and thermochemical routes. Many waste streams can have added value by chemical routes. One basis for this is waste carbohydrate streams.

We intend to investigate the possibilities of producing a range of fuel and higher added value molecules from waste carbohydrate streams. We have a range of potential improvements to existing experimental processes, which we believe can render this process considerably cheaper (details currently confidential).
